Experiencing unwanted residue after vaginal intercourse, or an unexpected discharge the next day (what Aima Sense calls "after leak"), is probably not something many women discuss over coffee with their friends. It is simply something we have learned to manage and accept. A less charming part of something that can otherwise be beautiful, intimate, and enjoyable.
It is also not always something you want to bring up with your partner. There is a risk that it may come across as negative or unflattering to say that semen can sometimes lead to an uncomfortable aftermath.
For a period of time, I also experienced issues with changes in my vaginal pH and, on occasion, bacterial vaginosis. Of course, bacterial vaginosis is not caused solely by semen, but for some women the disruption of the vaginal microbiome after intercourse can be a contributing factor.
As a midwife, I have always been aware of this and managed it by using pH-restoring products after vaginal intercourse. However, I never found a solution to after leak the following day until I discovered the After Sex Tampon.
Honestly, it is one of the very few products I have come across on social media that made me think:

Post-Sex Discomfort
In my professional role as a midwife, I am often asked about unpleasant vaginal odour and discharge. When I ask a few more questions, it is not uncommon to find that the symptoms tend to appear the day after intercourse, or in the days that follow. Some women go through repeated treatments with antibiotics or products such as Donaxyl without ever fully resolving the issue.
And I cannot help but wonder: for some of these women, could it have been enough to simply use the After Sex Tampon immediately after intercourse?
